Yamaha YG2800I 2800 Watt Industrial Generator

At 66 pounds, the Yamaha YG2800i is considerably lighter than most other portable generators in the 2kW range. A multipole rotor and a pulse width modulation inverter has allowed Yamaha Engineers to create one of the highest power to weight generators on the market.

The lightweight design dose not come at the expense of noise levels where again the YG2800i is ultra competitive with others in its class on rated power and even quiter at lower power levels as an electrical governor adjusts the engine RPM's and output power levels to match the demand.

The inverter output provides a clean, stable waveform not the spiky, erratic waveform found on regular generators so the generator is ideally suited to running microprocessor controlled equipment that requires stable frequency and voltage.

Makita G2800L 2800 Watt Power Generator

Powered by a 6 horsepower Robin EX Series engine, Makita's new generator, the G2800, will give the competition a run for its money. The new EX Series engines are the first to bring high performance chain drive Overhead Cam (OHC) technology to the industrial air cooled engine market. The recoil starter system, featuring an advanced automatic compression system and electronic ignition, makes for easy starting and reliable, consistent service, even in colder weather. The G2800 provides 9.7 hours of run time at half load thanks to the 3.7-gallon durable metal fuel tank. The commercial duty electrical controls and engine are protected from damage by the metal cage design and impact resistant materials.

Yamaha EF3000ISEB 3000 Watt Premium Generator with Yamaha Boost Technology

New to the Yamaha line up of Inverter type generators is the EF3000iSEB, a generator that gives a little extra. This is a 3000 max watts rated generator which thanks to the addition of a Boost Control Unit, is able to increase its output to 3500 watts for up to 10 seconds by drawing on power from an internal 12-volt battery.

Supplying that extra boost for 10 seconds is ample time to power equipment that may need that extra kick to start quickly and efficiently, such as a 13,500 btu air-conditioner or other trailer appliances.

The EF3000iSEB also features Inverter Technology - producing AC waveforms as clean or cleaner than commercial power. Smart Throttle - where the generator output is matched to the load, decreasing fuel consumption and noise levels. And Noise Block - where design and sound absorbing materials meet to produce industry leading operating noise levels.

The EF3000iSEB also boasts a new ergonomic design with easy control access, effortless electric starting and built-in wheels so they're remarkably portable - providing convenient power to locations you need it most, whether around the home or at a campsite. The EF3000iSEB - A generator on the leading edge of technology.
