Powered by a 2.5 HP Robin EX Series engine equipped with high performance, chain driven Overhead Cam ( OHC) technology for durability, the G1100 generator provides 900 running watts and 4.2 hours of run time at half load from the 1.1 gallon fuel tank.

You would need to be getting a pretty attractive discount on list price to make the Makita G4300L a more attractive proposition when compared to some of its more feature rich competitors in the 3kW class of portable generators. A reliable 11-horsepower overhead valve Robin (Subaru) EH34D engine provides 4,800 watts of continuous power and up to 5800 watts of maximum power for up to 7 hours from a single fill of the 5.6 gallon tank.
Other features include convenient 120/240 dual voltage output, 12-volt DC output, idle control, a brushless alternator, water deflecting louvers, GFCI safety outlet and a USDA approved spark arrester.
